1. Dossiers for re-export of cars and motorcycles:

a) Written request for re-export of vehicles: 01 original certified by the agency where the object works in Vietnam.

b) Document of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (State Department of Foreign Affairs or Department of Foreign Affairs of the locality where the consular office is located) on re-exporting vehicles: 01 original.

c) The customs declaration for temporary import of vehicles (the declarer) shall be stamped for "re-export or transfer according to law provisions": 01 copy certified by the temporary import border-gate Customs Sub-Department .

d) Certificate of revocation of registration, number plate of cars and motorbikes issued by Police Department: 01 original.

e) The written certification of the competent State agency that the car or motorcycle has suffered from an accident, natural disaster or due to technical reasons that cannot be used: 01 original (for with the case specified in Clause 3, Article 7 of Decision No. 53/2013 / QD-TTg).

2. Procedures for re-exporting cars and motorcycles

a) Procedures for re-export of motor vehicles and motorcycles shall be carried out at border-gate Customs Sub-Departments.

b) Based on the dossier specified in Clause 1 of this Article, the border-gate Customs Sub-Department shall carry out re-export procedures according to current regulations on export goods not for commercial purposes. In case of suspicion of a temporary import declaration prescribed at Point c, Clause 1 of this Article, the border-gate Customs Sub-Department shall request the procedures for temporary import of vehicles to provide information on temporary import declarations. Within 5 days after the re-export border-gate Customs Sub-Department issues a written request, the border-gate Customs Sub-Department carrying out the procedures for temporary import of vehicles shall have to supply information to the re-gate customs sub-department.
