REGULATION ON PROCEDURES FOR IMPORTING UV LIGHT WELDING 10W-G10T8

Question:
We have imported a batch of UV-G10T8 germicidal light bulbs used to disinfect air, surfaces of different materials and water or liquid (not used for common lighting) with specifications. back: Lamp wattage: 10W Length (L): 330 mm Diameter (D): 25.5 mm Color: White Clear Function: Air sterilization Ultraviolet wavelength: 253.7 nm Cap (B): G13. Customs officers require the company to register for state quality inspection according to Circular 08/2019 / BKHCN and explain in detail at Decision 3810 / QD-BKHCN. But according to the company, this circular only applies to "Light-emitting diode (LED) / Light-emitting diode (LED)". So we want to ask the case of our company must register for quality testing or not?

- Pursuant to the Annex enclosed with Circular 08/2019 / BKHCN of the Ministry of Science and Technology, other light-emitting diodes, searchlights and led lamps must apply the promulgated Regulation. The company bases on specific names, uses and students to implement commodity policies accordingly

Particularly, the list of goods under Decision 3810 / QD-BKHCN of the Ministry of Science and Technology applies only hot cathode fluorescent lamps (ballast type) under the management of this Ministry.

Request the company to refer to the above provisions for implementation. In case of arising problems, please contact directly with the Customs Branch where expected to register the declaration for specific instructions.
