Tàu container MSC Tessa của hãng tàu MSC

Nhà máy đóng tàu Hudong Zhonghua của Trung Quốc đang tăng cường thêm số chỗ container trong các thiết kế cho loại tàu megamax của mình để phá vỡ các kỷ lục mới về kích thước trong vận tải container.

Tàu MSC Tessa đã được hạ thủy tại Nhà máy đóng tàu Trường Hưng Giang Nam trong tuần này. Mặc dù có cùng kích thước với tàu Ever Alot, con tàu đầu tiên trên thế giới đạt mốc 24.000 TEU. Tàu vận chuyển container mới sẽ đạt kỷ lục mới khi có thêm 112 chỗ. Tàu MSC Tessa có sức chở 24.116 TEU.

Tàu MSC Tessa dài 399,99 m là một trong bốn tàu của hãng tàu MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Co) đã đặt hàng tại nhà máy đóng tàu thuộc Tổng công ty Đóng tàu Nhà nước Trung Quốc (CSSC)
