PROCEDURES FOR IMPORTING NEW 100% NEW EMERGENCY VEHICLES

Question:
The company has a project to supply 100% new ambulances to some hospitals. Do not know clearly about the import procedures, so it is necessary to advise the import procedures for goods that require a license of a specialized agency? in particular, which licensing agencies; Regulations related to the import of this item. How much is the import tax?
Reply:
1. Regarding import policies
- The ambulance face is not on the list of goods banned from import or import which requires a license as prescribed in Appendix III issued together with Decree No. 69/2018 / TT-BTC of May 15, 2019 of The government should be able to import the company as normal goods.
- Ambulance cars, mobile ambulances are included in Appendix I and II issued with the Circular 41/2018 / TT-BGTVT dated July 30, 2018 of the Ministry of Transport, according to the regulations when importing, Received in accordance with national standards and technical regulations before customs clearance.
Customs procedures and dossiers for import comply with current regulations in Articles 16 and 18 of Circular 38/2015 / TT-BTC of March 25, 2015, amended and supplemented in Circular 39/2018 / TT. -BTC April 20, 2018 of the Ministry of Finance.
2. Regarding import tax rates
Depending on the volume, the ambulance car has different import tax rates, please ask the Company to search Chapter 87.03 in the Preferential Import Tariff according to the list of taxable goods issued together with Decree No. 57/2020 / ND-CP dated May 25, 2020 of the Government to implement.
Request the company to refer to the above provisions for implementation. In case of any problems, please contact the Customs Branch where the declaration is registered for specific instructions.
