Find an owner of more than 100 unclaimed scrap containers

115 containers of imported scrap have remained in stock at Cat Lai port for many months now without any recipients.
 
According to the Customs Branch of Saigon port area 1, 115 of the above-mentioned scrap containers are imported to Cat Lai Port in 2017 and 2018. However, on the records and documents related to the shipment, the enterprise showing goods in many generic categories, not scrap.
Through reviewing the backlog of goods until February 28, 2020, the Customs authorities discovered 115 containers of scrap (234 teus) without any recipients. To handle this scrap, Saigon Port Area 1 Customs Branch is announcing to find the owner of these shipments.
Previously, more than 2,000 containers of scrap imported through Cat Lai port in stock were also inventoried and classified.
Of which, 25 containers were re-exported. The rest have more than 100 containers under the key lock, nearly 300 containers under the investigations, so they are also temporarily locked by the authorities, over 160 containers have been opened by customs enterprises but have not yet received the goods. .
