The Philippines participates in the transmission of electronic form D data on an ASEAN single door

The General Department of Customs has just sent a notice to the provincial/municipal Customs Departments to conduct the electronic C / O form D inspection through the ASEAN Single Window.
 
 
Accordingly, from February 25, 2020, the Philippines is the last member to carry out electronic C / O data transmission through the ASEAN Single Window system.
Customs will carry out the inspection and receipt of electronic form D issued by the Philippines through the national single-window system. The inspection complies with current regulations.
The General Department of Customs' guidance is based on the provisions of Circular No. 22/2016 / TT-BCT dated October 3, 2016 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and based on the results of the 32nd meeting of the Rules of Origin Sub-Committee ( SC-AROO 32) implements the ATIGA Agreement (Form D / C) taking place from 24-28 February 2020 in Bandung, Indonesia. The meeting informed all member countries to implement electronic C / O through ASEAN Single Window from February 25, 2020.
According to statistics of the General Department of Customs, as of January 31, 2020, the results of exchanging certificates of origin form D electronically with 8 ASEAN countries are as follows: Total C / O sent from Vietnam to ASEAN countries is 165,061 C / O; The total C / O received from ASEAN countries to Vietnam is 201,652 C / O.
