On May 19, 2015, the Department of Import and Export - Ministry of Industry and Trade issued an official letter guiding the import of large motorcycles without commercial purposes: "According to the provisions of Circular No. 06/2007 / TT-BTM on May 30, 2007 of the Ministry of Trade guiding the import of motorbikes with a capacity of 175 cm3 or more, automatic import permits shall only apply to cases of import for commercial purposes; import cases not for commercial purposes are not governed by this Circular, import procedures under the guidance of customs authorities ”.

So; In case the grandparents were given a 01 big cylinder motorbike from Honda RC213V-S equipped with a 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1,000 cc, they do not have to obtain an automatic import license from the Ministry of Public love.
